Omaha Comedy Fest brings established and emerging comedians together for a weekend that’s part showcase, part training ground, part really good time. This grassroots festival continues to prove that fun happens here just for fun. The weekend is packed with nightly shows, panels, and workshops for comedians at every level — and fans who want a look behind the curtain. Events are hosted at local businesses around the Backline Comedy Theatre affected by streetcar construction.
APPLEJACK FESTIVAL

Join us in La Vista City Centre for a traditional Oktoberfest celebration with a modern-day twist, as Main Street closes for an afternoon and evening of festive fun. Enjoy live music from local bands, a beer garden, and a lineup of food trucks serving up everything from pretzels to pizza. Cheer on the Huskers at our football and volleyball watch parties, play cornhole, get your face painted, or show off your skills in our Best Dressed and Beer Stein Holding contests. Families and all ages are welcome!
